Dumferline Athletic 1896

A year later (2011) Subbuteo Club Libertas Lucca replied with another tournament dedicated to "The history of Scottish Cup".

A more exclusive day with 32 teams given by our staff.

Mine was the Dumferline Athletic from 1896.

Tottenham Hotspurs 1897

In 2010 Lucca hosted the best old style tournament of the season.

The 36 teams of "The history of F.A. Cup" were provided by the organization from a selection of English teams which won the F.A. Cup and from a year when they wore unique jerseys.

I ended up with a Tottenham orange and brown!

Before I left Italy to live a year in Australia my Subbuteo friends invited me for a delicious dinner by the lake. At the end of the night they gift me the team of our Subbuteo Club.

Portugal 2nd 2010

This is my worst painting so far, I had no time to complete it before the day of the tournament, therefore I decided to forget about all the wonderful details this jersey had to offer.

France 2nd 1998

I admit, I'm not a big fan of the France National Football Team.
But I have to say that this Subbuteo team, realized by Michele Giudice, is a masterpiece!

Leeds United

In 1954 Leeds United worn one of the most beautiful jersey kits of all Premier League history. I tried to replay it on a Subbuteo team. I like the outcome a lot!

Dundee United

I saw the very first time this jersey in a shop in Lucca when I was a child and I've never forgotten it. The pattern with slight grey lines was something you had never seen in Italy before. Years later thanks to historicalkits.co.uk I found it again.
 I did put a lot of effort to paint one of the glorious scottish team, decal numbers, fine inners and new metalized Replay DUXes made the result astonishing!

Jamaica 1994

For my first OldSubbuteo tournament, as organizer and player, I chose to lead the Lions of Judah! Thanks to Alessandro Subazzoli who has realized the Jamaica 1994.

The PSG, one of my favourite jersey since Weah scored against Milan in Champions League twice! I couldn't wait to paint this team so it was the second team of the MVcreations collection.
